i have an image file, very big, 6.4GB. i am gonna reformat my PC. Is there a way to burn a 6.4GB image file onto a typical 4.5GB DVD? if i cant, is there any other way to backup this file? thanks.

Perhaps by compressing it. Try ZIP/Rar.

If that fails, your best bet is to get a USB flash drive. You should be able to get an 8GB for less than $20.

You could use a Dual Layer DVD which holds 8 Gig, but you'd have to get a dual-layer DVD burner.

Just out of curiosity, what does this have to do with database?
