I have created a time card database that calculates total hours. Also, I have two tables employees and time cards. In the employee table all of their info is stored employee number, name, ssn, etc. In the time card table is their name and number and places to input hours worked. The time card table looks up the info from the employee table.
In the time card form I would like to select the employee number and the name comes up automatically. How can I do this?

Having the name in the second table is redundant. Use the SSN as the Primary Key and use that as a Foreign Key in the second table.

Create a query using the first table. Then, create an input field that asks for the SSN. Then, create a form based on that query.
