Comment: I want to attach my purchase order files (microsoft word 2003 files) to records in my access database. Is it possible to link or better store them in the access? I want to be able to go to the record and be able to the record and see the Purchase order documents. Then be able to open them. Each record will have different files attached. Any ideas, because if i can do something like this it would be very exciting. If there could be a drag and drop funtion i'd be gurgling with glee....but hey i'm opne to the simplest solutions first and foremost. ideas suggestions comments?

Reply: (edit)One way is to Insert a Hyperlink field in your table. Then insert the Hyperlink to the Document. Life's more painless for the brainless.

Reply: (edit)What do you mean by "fancy?" You asked for the simplest way to attach a document.. Perhaps you can clarify what exactly it is that you want. Life's more painless for the brainless.
