I haven't been able to find anything on this through google searches but is there some function in Access to apply a date/time stamp when someone selects a case from the database? To be specific, I have a database where users go to accept work items. They're supposed to take the case out of the queue by selecting their own name from a drop down list, then put in the date. Now management would like it to be a built in process, so if they select their name and maybe push a button that says, "Start Review" Access takes the time and date and adds it to the record for that case.

It sounds simple enough but how to put it in use?
