I am tring to setup what I thought would be a simple network for my act application. 5 compueters, all syncing there act records. Everything on the network is setup, file sharing enabled, protocols installed. However, I cant for the life of me figure out how to get the 5 computers to sync. If anyone has any experience getting this to work, please let me know how. As the ACT! customer help requires more $$$. I thought maybe someone here could help. Thanks in advance!

If I understand what you're saying, you can't do it that way.

You have to have Act installed on each computer and then point them at 1 particualr computer that contains the data files.

If you want several people to be able to access the data files at the same time, you'll have to get the multi-user version.

Today seems like a good day to chew through the restraints.
