I solved this problem when using Access 2003 by exporting data into Excel but having upgraded to Access 2007 where this is not possible, I’m trying to create the report in Access which I should have done in the first place. I have 3 tables called, product, works order, and test. When we need a product we raise a works order for a certain quantity, and when we receive the items from the assembler (either in whole or in several batches) we test them as either the whole works order or in batches. I want to report when we receive a works order from the assembler (or part works order) how long it took us to test the items. So if we raise a works order for 100 and receive from the assembler 2 batches of 70 then 30, we may for example test 50 then 40 then 7 then 3, I want to report that the batch of 70 was tested on the date that the 40 were tested and the 30 was tested when the last 3 were tested. So my report would look like: WO# Date received Qty Tested 1234 01/01/08 70 25/01/08 1234 10/01/08 30 01/02/08
Any suggestions on how to do this would be appreciated.
