As a Technician i have a job of essembling a database from the following data:-
Im really stuck on how to extract some data from a table imported from excel, the table consist of room numbers for field names, and network points in each column/ aka field room name. e.g.
Room1 Room2 Room3 <--- Field names
=============================================
P102 P104 P106 <--- Network points in room
P103 P105 P107 " " " "
The problem is how can i extract the network point data and link it to the room numbers with the room numbers being the primary key, the problem im having is the data in each field has repeating data.Any clues on how to do this or a query example.
To succeed is to fail at least once.

What do you mean by repeating data? Are you trying to show which network "points" are located in each room?
Life is more painless for those who are brainless.
