Comment:

I have a couple of databases used to track data. (Eventually, they will be combined, but things move slow sometimes).
It's a straight form/table connection for both of them, and they can be edited by multiple users. It is, in my experience, rare for multiple users to be on the same listing, and there are no signs of it here. One of the databases has spots for multiple contacts from one person, so we can see how many times we've been contacted, and what the result was.

The problem:

I've got one user who enters data, and then it vanishes later. It can be just part of a listing that she entered (one contact, such as Contact #3). HER stuff will vanish. The listing may still be there, but not with her changes.

Other times, she will create a new listing and it will vanish later. Sometimes, it apparently vanishes while she goes to get the word file to merge.

She insists it is not user error. (If it is, I am not sure how it is either, as the saving, etc is at least temporarily taking place).

It does not happen constantly, but at least once a day. And it only happens to her. Prior to her arrival, there were no problems of this sort, and one of the systems has been in place for five years.

Any suggestions on why there would be a localized data loss? Any solutions?
