Hey guys,

Right... I benched this cpu @ 211x12.5 = 2644Ghz with 3dmark01 10 times and played Far Cry for over an hour with no crashes.

Prime95 tests showed errors :0( .. So i skimmed a little off the top and brought it down to 208x12.5 = 2600Ghz @ 2.0v.
I tested it for an hour before i had to go to work and there was no errors so i will test it for longer when i get home.

How come this cpu can take 10 benchmarks and Far Cry and not crash and yet prime95 shows errors....? I thought Far Cry was enough to test any machine...?

: indigian,

What Mobo you running...? Because my NF7s V2.0 set it at 1.525v , but all i did was lower the voltage to 1.45v and thats what you need to do...
The reason for this is because its a mobile cpu .. mobo's dont recognise them..

For AXP-M; CPU is unknown; you have to set Vcore; FSB manually.

To responce number 12...

With this cpu the max i can get is 217fsb but seems to be unstable and although i have a good cooling system i dont want to go over a Vcore of 2.0v.
After various tests this is the best fsb/Ghz i can get.. Ok so u can say i can go to 217x12 to get 2600Ghz and its a fair point ...and its stable at 2.1v but thats over my limit and the temps go over what i require..
....................

Ok ive now Prime95 for 3 hours @ 208X12.5 at it seems stable .... i never have my pc on for longer than that anyway...lol

Settings...

208fsb x 12.5mult = 2610Ghz
9800xt.. core 472
mem 400ddr
Memory timings = 11.2.2.2 (11 is faster than 6... dont ask me why..!!)
Temps.... 42c idle
48c load
Case..... 32c
Room temp 28c

3dmark01= 21118
3dmark03= 7309

any knowledge thrown my way will be appreciated...

It's probably your mobo limits you to 217, not CPU.
