I had my system running at 200x11 rock steady no heat probs at all.
Tried bit of extra clocking.
200x11.5 needed +.500 more in the cpu voltage making it 1.700v.I bench tested this settings OK.2300mhz stable, nice. 200x12 needed a full voltage 1.75,it ran hot doing not a lot.(I admit my cooling aint too hot tho).If I whacked the fan up full,it would cool it ok I think tho. BUT the noise!!
ALSO? Does anybody know anything regarding the Driver for the AMD Processor found in the Device Manager?(OS=XP)

Yes well it does get loud.. I have a p4.. oc to 3.5x ghz.. stable without to bad heat problems. (6 case fans, 2 fans on power supply, 2 fans on video card, and hsf.) I use a thermaltake spark 7+.. which I only leave running at full speed while im playing games.. and raising the multiplier wont give you a good amount of performance difference.. I prefer raising the bus speeds when overclocking.. (speed at which everything can communicate with each other) I also plan on testing out an oc cooling kit that I saw online.

lol, you prefer to raise the bus speed? gonna be a little difficult doing anything else with a p4. i definatly agree the higher fsb is better - more bandwidth for your whole system. then again 133 - 200 is already a big performance boost. nice overclock you got there.

That doesnt matter, he can still up the bus speed instead of just changing the multiplier which is a much better choice. My FRIENDS have amd's and I know from them.

Summary: Hey Pariah, how you doin? Hey Jam. I had my xp2400+ running at 200x12. I'm going to credit all my oc results to the toptastic nf7-s. Lower your multi(if you can?)then up the fsb. Tt Lanfire nf7-s v2....
Summary: Firstly I would to thanx to johnoh & jonajsil for their replies, nice work :) OK, so what would be the best HSF to buy out of this list to use on my XP2400+ running at 2GHz in your opinion? Aerocool ...
Summary: The processor speed is not 3700MHz, you're probably referring to the model number, 3700+. It runs at 2400MHz but is equivilent to a P4 @ 3.7GHz. Although I've been kinda toying with the idea of build...
