I'm no overclocker (at the moment) but figure that those of you who are would be able and kind enough to make suggestions on how to deal with the issue below: I have been trying to get an AMD XP2400 to work in my PC with a Shuttle AK32 MB. It works for a while then restarts or tries unsuccessfully to restart. This is particularly true when an application is giving the CPU a workout. I have played a bit with nudging the voltage and a couple other bios tweaks but really don't know what I'm doing and have not met with success. Full system info showing both the old Athlon 1.2GHz CPU and the new 2400 follows. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Try downloading the free system diagnostic AIDA32 and looking for the precise BIOS name in it I have a AK32 mobo but there are several versions. Not all of them support Athlon XP 2400+ CPU's; my version supports only up to 2200+
