xp2100 clocking problems...

OS: win xp home edition ver5.
CPU/Ram: palomino 2100+ 512 md ddr

hi i need some help, first, i´m only able to raise the fsb to about 166 or else it locks up and crashes....and second, i have rad about unlocking the cpu to change the multiplier, unlocking doesn´t seem to hard, but my motherboard soltek sl-75drv5 only can have 12,5 as highest multiplier and standard on my cpu is 13! is there a way to raise it to 15???

Only? That's still quite an overclock for a palomino. If you only have PC2100 RAM this could be what's stopping you acheiving more.

As for the multiplier problem I'd look on the Soltek Website for a BIOS update for that board.

oops I mean 136 fsb....and i tried raising voltage or setting the rams for 133mhz, it still restarts and locks up....what else could be wrong? it is pc2100 ram...the highest i´ve ever had was 138 but that was with std clock settings on the graphic card...geforce 3 ti200, with the card clocked i can only have 136 as fsb...any suggestions?
