I saw a guide that said you could connect the L1 bridges with Arctic Silver. Would this work? To me it just doesn't seem like it would cause I thought it was supposed to be non conductive? I'm very confident that I could unlock this proc., I have Nail Polish to fill in the laser cut, and who doesn't have scotch tape :), but I need to know what various materials could be used to connect the L1 bridges. Thanks for any help.

Arctic Silver IS conductive. Whether it would work for closing the L1 bridges, I don’t know.

If you’ve got the Arctic Silver, the time, the eyesight, and the dexterity, try it and post back and let us know.

that isnt going to work, in fact too much on top of the chip is going to do the opposite of cool. Use a pencil.

I haven’t tried it with an XP but I’ve read that the L1 bridges are too small for a pencil. I read one article where conductive grease and a pin were used. You could probably do the same thing with Arctic Silver.
