i was wondering the difference between a green xp 1900+ and a brown one. is the brown one a palomino? what is the green? t-bred core?
I find that the green color is relaxing, and easier on the mind.
The brown color is rather drab, and lifeless. You know just a blob.

The only way you can tell the difference between the palomino and the t-bred is the size of the die, square is palomino and rectangle is t-bred. AMD says color doesnt matter but then again they also said that the xp's are brown till 2100+...

The colour of the processor makes no difference whatsoever. I have a green XP 1700+, but my brother, who bought his after mine, got a brown XP 2000+. Only Athlon XP's over and including 2200+ are the new Thoroughbred core. It was just a design change.

There seems to be a few people who believe that the green is more effective at keeping lower temperatures. I don't know how true this though.
