I have ordered the following: MOBO-Asus A7N8X(can run at 333 FSB) CPU-XP2400(266) RAM-DDR PC3200(400mhz)512MB CAS 2.5
I have begun to wonder, should I consider exchanging the 2400 for the 2600 taking advantage of the FSB333 plus a few more Mhz. There is a 100 Dollar price difference and I dont know if it is worth it, or even a noticable gain? Secondly this MOBO supports Dual DDR I believe it would need 2 DIMM??, would I be wise in returning the DIMM for 2 DIMM's or would that be anything noticable, then notice the CAS level of 2.5 would running at CAS 2 be obviously faster?? Combined upgrades might prove an obvious gain but I can't find any facts stating so or if I can notice any indiviually.
