Comment: Okay, i got a Compaq Presario 5150 about a week ago, it was used but it was really cheap so i took it, the CPU that came with it was a 350 MHz AMD K6-2, so, of course, never being happy with what i have, i went out and bought a 500 MHz AMD K6-2, but it only reads at 342.79 MHz, i've messed with all the jumpers and tried every combination (i think) but it never went UP once, it just kept going DOWN, any ideas? There are only 10 types of people in this world: Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Reply: (edit)Hard to help without knowing what board you have. Do you know the model number or have a manual? Are the jumper settings printed on the board?
