WRONG CPU SPEED

HI there i have just put my new Athlon XP 1800 on my also brand new Gigabyte GA 7VTXE+ MB,but my system shows that runs at 1150MH !!!??? Whats happening.I have tried to manually change the CPU clock from AUTO to 133mh but my cpu goes till 1500 mh speed.What's happening.I dont want to overclock my CPU just to make it work properly.Can any one help me.I have also a DDR 256,for your info.

The multiplier for this CPU is set at 11.5 so your FSB is probably set for 100MHz.
On page 14 of your manual are instructions for setting your MOBO dipswitches. Set the “CK_RATIO” switch to “11.5x” or to “AUTO”. Set the “CLK_SW” to “133.3”. You should also set the “CPU HOST CLOCK” to 133.3MHz in CMOS as shown on page 49.

Your CPU speed is supposed to run at 1533 MHz. 11.5 * 133
Summary: well i have posted this before but wasnt so clear on my information. the cpu is running 1.15ghz and it is suppose to run at 1.53ghz. i know that i will have to change the fsb to get the correct speed ...
Summary: I had Motherboard Monitor 5 and the CPU speeds were always around 2814Mhz....(nothung is overclocked). But then I upgraded MBM5 to it´s newest version...and now the CPU monitor shows speeds of 2897Mhz...
