OS: WinXP
CPU/Ram: Intel 900\128 Ram

I have IBM Thinkpad T22 laptop , and it is 900 MHZ as the bios says ... but windows detect it 700 MHZ , and the cupz , the same ... and sometimes they detect it 900 and again 700 !
so is it 900 or 700 ! i don't know , any help would be appreciated !

Laptops vary the CPU speed based on load...that keeps the CPU temp down & conserves battery life

You can go into the BIOS and set power settings to run at MAX speed regardless of whether you are on battery or not. You can also go into the Power options in Windows and disable the SpeedStep settings, if there are any.
