Unplug the power cable from the back of your pc, open up the case and remove the CMOS battery for about a minute or two and then put it back in. This should reset BIOS to factory default.

I think its a dead mobo prob... You might have accidently pushed the heatink too hard while installing or something. If by doesn't start up, do u mean not POST BEEP? If thats the case, try refering to your mobo's manual and look for a clear CMOS procedure. Another thing you can do is look for a 3 pin thing with a jumper on it (Usually close to the CMOS battery) and switch it to the opposite place for a minute or so and then switch it back. After that , turn ure comp back on. Hopefully it isn't a dead mobo. Does you comp beep when u turn it on?
