Comment:

I have an ASUS A7V333 Mobo with an Athlon XP2100+. Recently, it wouldn't POST right away and required me to hit the reset button a couple times before it would go. And when it worked, it worked fine.

But this got worse and worse, and now it won't POST or boot at all, and I've been hitting reset for about an hour. Any thoughts?

see if your computer is overheating and make sure your power supply is not going and/or see if you need a more powerful power supply, and make sure there are no loose connections

sounds like a power supply problem, my suggestion would to find someone who has a socket A mobo that supports your processor and test everything in their board to make sure it works then if you still havent found your problem put their power supply in your case and if thats not it switch the processors and see if one or the other works.
