Now that you're on a roll...as i said my processor is an XP 2000 but on bootup the text says its running at 1250. Do you know why this is?

Your 2000+ should run at 133Mhz x 12.5 and is now running at 100Mhz x 12.5. Just set your fsb to 133 and all should be well.

I tried this and you can't change the settings on my BIOS so I did an update...now my computer won't boot up again! I cleared the CMOS again but that doesn't work. Can anyone help me?

you must have messed up your bios by installing the wrong update or not letting it finish or something really bad happened while on install. your best bet is trying finding an update to your bios at a different place and try again. if not you screwed without your bios.
