Hi all,
I just thought id have a tinker with windows 64 bit version, quite impressed but couldnt get all my drivers for blutooth, printer etc so not much good to me for day to day use at the moment.
However its my graphics card that shocked me.
Ive got a xfx 6600gt AGP. in windows 32 at 550 mhz GPU and 1100 mhz ram using the latest drivers my idle temps were around 45-50 deg c. 80+ loadIn windows 64 with latest 64 bit drivers with exactly the same clock speeds my temps were down to 30-35 degrees 60 load. ???
Just wondering if anyone knows why my temps were so much more healthy in 64 bit windows???????
PS> just a side line does anyone know of a better heatsink available for the AGP xfx 6600gt available in the uk i can only seem to find american companys selling aftermarket sinks for my graphics card.
Cheers Guys
