I want to be able to check my CPU temperature from time to time, but I don't want to have to restart and go into my BIOS to do it. I've searched for a freeware program that will tell me my CPU temp, but I can't find one. Does anyone have a tip where I could find one? Thanks! Also, if anyone could give me some tips on overclocking my Athlon XP2400+ running on a SOYO KT333 Platinum board I'd appreciate it. If my system Bus is at 266MHz, can my system clock speed be that fast? Right now it is at 133MHz. Thanks!

the front side bus doubles the system clock. So 133 becomes 266. You're all set there.
For via chipsets I like this small freeware program:
http://vcool.occludo.net/VCool_18b10.zip
which you can use just as a small temp readout in the system tray, or you enable the "NB Cool Bit" which will reduce your temps when not at full load. You'll have to play around in Options to figure out which sensors are the right ones to display (same with any temperature tool not custom made for your mobo) by noting the bios temps then displaying the various sensor options vcool has. To disable fan rpm readout just deselect the fan field in the options. It tends to interfere with the pci bus on non-via chipsets, producing slow downloads and sound static but is still good for displaying temps.
