Will PC3500 or 4000 work in A7N8X??

Hi, real quick, does anyone know if PC3500 or PC4000 ram will work in an A7N8X v1.06 with bios 1007, and run at ddr400 with a XP2500-m. THANKS!
P.S. Don't ask why I'm not just getting PC3200 ram :P. I won't be overclocking past 400fsb...
C'mon, I really wanna ask...why would you get PC4000 just to run it as PC3200? Hey, why don't you get an 3200+ CPU & run it as a 2500+ while you're at it?

well jam maybe he's cheap like me. i got a 512mb stick of pc3700 when 3200 would have worked fine,but the kingston 3700 hyper x was cheaper at the time than the 3200

Exactly spliff, right now a dual pack of 512mb pc3200, pc3500, and pc4000 are 150-160 dollars. So why not get the faster kind so you dont have to worry about it later...so will a pc4000 ram work?

I see no reason why it shouldn't, and you can always adjust the CPU/RAM ratio to run it @ a particular speed if you want.
