Will the Intel Pentium D 930 800MHz LGA775 work in my MSI PM8M2-V motherboard (MS-7071)? And if so what kind of performance gain will I see in gaming over my current processor Celeron D 326?

My mobo manual says it supports Pentium 4 Prescott processor (LGA775).

Thanks in advance.

Thanks alot jam. But what about the Pentium 4 570J (3.8GHz)? Would I see a good performance gain in gaming? I don't want to spend the money if not. Otherwise I would wait to replace mobo.

I currently have 6600gt and 1gb of memory and I believe my Cele D is the bottleneck.

Thanks again jam.
