Yes, its enough. I got a P4 1.7 @ 1.9Ghz, with 1.0 RDRAM and it works fine with my 300 watts.

although you cant compare the two cpu's (Athlons are more power demanding than intel chips) Death-Knight is right. 300 watts should be enough but you are running it close. But it does depend on your entire setup. how many cd roms do you have? Hard drives? I think you are safe with pci cards...They dont require as much to run than to say a harddrive or cdrom drive.

You're joking right?
Get a 400, you will be adding USB devices right? They need juice. So do top end Graphics cards, extra fans for cooling etc!
I have no doubt a 300w will cut it for a standard system with no extras, no decent graphics, but you aren't going to have that, are you?

I was mistaken about the 300...he said 320. Which still with the setup he has mentioned will still be enough. As for adding USB devices a good 320 and not a cheap brand would hold up fine. I have a 300 watt PSU with a USB hub, 9 fans, ati rage video card, CD burner, cdrom drive.
