Specs: Windows 7
CPU heats up at 100% capacity within thirty minutes of You Tube viewing. Message says one CPU at 100% capcity

Is the cooling fan working properly? Check it's spinning and also not clogged up in its vents. Similarly any other cooling fans...

Also what make/model are we dealing with here?

100% capacity doesn't necessarily mean it is heating up beyond what is acceptable.

All it means is that the CPU is working at its maximum capability. You tube alone should not do that so you need to check what else is running that is taking up CPU time.

mmm Are you sure you have the correct make and model number for the computer; and is it laptop or desktop?

I ask as google trawl doesn't bring it up - only real estate sites...

On the Gateway computers site - it is isn't recognised as anything they know about?

If you are cleaning up the computer include cleaning the CPU heat-sink and the case vents.
