the link above goes to the biostar socket a motherboard m7vif. i will be getting it free and i plan to built a system with it and an athlon 2200+ with 512 PC2100 DDR memory.

Anybody knows if this board will run my Athlon 2200+. (this is most important) The website says it will, but how good. And also the website says this about the boards memory

4 x 184-pin DDR DIMM
Maximum 3.0 GB
PC2700 (DDR333

I only have PC2100 memory, will that work in the board.

Please help. Very Urgent, i can't go one more day without a decent system.. this amd k6 is driving me crazy.

all you had to do was click CPU support to find the info you are looking for

2100 memory will work till you can afford better

You will probably have to update the BIOS also for it to work correctly, They have a bios update there
