The AN8-SLi has been discontinued. It has kind of a goofy setup if you ask me. Compare the specs & check the board layout:

I also googled an8 sli v kn8 sli and that was too much for me aswell lol
but they seemed to like the kn8 netter?

Discontinued?
Does that mean it's not as good as the kn8 then?

It means they stopped manufacturing the AN8-SLi. You obviously aren't too knowledgeable about motherboard specs, so what lead you to these 2 particular boards? Maybe you should start by telling us exactly what you're trying to do. Do you plan on building a system? And why are you looking at SLi boards? Do you plan on running two video cards?

Yes,eventually.

I'm just looking at these 2 boards because they are in a clearance items.
And at £40 they seem quite reasonable?
