I recently brought the Nforce4 SLI + GeForce7800gt boundle, but now i can't use it because i don't have a cpu yet

i was thinking maybe going for amd64 x2 3800+ for future-proof but amd64 4000+ is just almost the same price as it. i will be doing a lot of gaming so x2 is kind of useless to me right now.

which cpu is better for overclocking (which i will be doing in the next 3~5 months) and obtain another 7800gt too

i want to update to date with current games and the next few future titles... how does this system look?

If budget is under $450 can you afford overclocking if, no, when you burn up components?

You can avoid many of these Windows problems with Linux. Linspire eases the transition for new users

Just go out and get an Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego core and overclock to if not higher then the AMD Athlon 64 4000+ speed.

i think i'm gonna go with AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+
