Actually that is about right for the 64 athlon. I am gussing that is the idle temp. It maybe a couple of deg celcius warmer than normal, but that could be because of our cooling system.

What is the temps during load.

its 47 degrees cel when i got 3 games running (world of warcraft, wc3, and counter strike, i tested it. 45 = with like 5 downloads going :\ I think im going to invest 10 dollars in thermal compound because i reinstalled my cpu and took it out and stuff so the compound is kinda smeared, i got 5 fans on my case so i dont think its that, my main board runs at 30 degrees cel :)

Also, another question. My cpu voltage is suppose to be higher than my vcore right? I thought they were the same thing at first. Vcore = 1.45, cpu volt = 2.53

Well, just because you have three games running, does not mean that you are acutally using the CPU fully, now, if you were playing all of them, for a long period of time, and things got intense in all of them, and it's still 47 celcius, then i would have to say one thing, Wow, that's pretty cool temp for a load temp with the 64 and investing in some compound would not hurt, just make sure you remove all of the older stuff first.

And that cooling system sounds fun with the 5 fans. What kind of fans do you have. I am looking at getting a couple of mine for my rig, but still do not know what to go with. One of my friends has a couple of Aerocool fans, and the work great and was wonderin myself if they were any good.

I have a thermaltake fans that came with my case, they rock. I recommend 120mm fans vs 2 x 80 mm though. The 120 brings a LOT of airflow. One in the front, one in tbe back. One sucks in air, the other sucks out air which is pretty good.

my computer keeps on shutting down, this all happened after i testes some bad ram in my pc ...

1. Have you replaced the "bad ram"
2. If you have; check cpu heatsink is installed and seated, feel it, does it feel hot to the touch.
3. If it does feel hot; make sure fan is clean, reseat cpu, clean off old paste first, "a grain of rice size is enough" reseat cpu + heatsink.
4. Have a good look round inside your case. Is air flow ok, are fans working as they should.
5. If all this fails it would pay you to make sure that your psu has enough power to do what is should.

Hope these ideas help.

yes i have replaced the ram it was only to test it.. now as soon as i press the power switch on my pc it just goes off. my psu is 500 watts im not quite sure wat to do
i will call one of my techinicain friends tomorro and see what he says i have tried everything u have suggested already.
what i tink might have happened is that the ram either messed up to motherboard or the processor is getting way too hot or my psu is no longer working properly.
i had ordered a new mother board , graphics card, dvd burner and ram
ill will check to see if the processor the motherboard or the power supply is what is giving the trouble when i get my parts
i only built this pc in june so everytinhg is practially new.
thanks for the advice quicksilver if u have anymore plz let me no
