hey guys

I am currently using IBM desktop which is Intel 82845G/GL/GV Controller.Socket 478, FSB 533, Pentium 4 2.66 I want to upgrade to the higer speed CPU which is maybe P4 3.06 with HT. But I am not quite sure this is fit for my motherboard because IBM block all the functions in the BIOS. I can't know the max multiplier I can take.

Do you guys know how to know the max multiplier without see the BIOS?

Does my motherboard support HT or just totally unrelevant to my motherboard?

Thanks anyway Mates
Regards
Kevin
