Darn it,all this reading up is just confusing. Its just Intels confusing name branding. For their 45nm wolfdales, If its E7x00 or higher, they brand it Core 2. If its 6x00 or lower they brand it Pentium Dual Core. So now I'm bang for buck choosing the E5200.(Almost half the price of the other2) The 6300&7400 are 1066mhz while the 5200 is 800mhz. So if I'm going to oc the 5200 is my ram option still a good choice or should I get reaper 800mhz? I need to stop reading up lol :( Apparently the E7300 oc's better? 6300,7300&7400 are about the same price and I could squeeze the wallet to fit but.......? The Dual Core Pentiums are Core 2 Duos with less L2 cache & a lower FSB. You can overclock the crap out of them. Just lower the multi & crank the FSB to 1333MHz or 1600MHz. There's no need for DDR2-1066...do you plan on overclocking the CPU to 2133MHz FSB? I doubt it. Unless you can get it cheaper, DDR2-800 will take you to 1600MHz+ FSB. Look at P45 boards from Gigabyte or Asus.

Either of the RAM choices will work. You could probably even get off cheaper if you go for CAS 5 RAM.

I got the Reaper RAM but I can't even boot with 8GB,anyway..... Went with the Asus P5Q Pro board. Here's my Overclock so far............... When I run cpuz it shows my Multi as 6.0 until I run Super_PI,then it goes to 12.5 ? I've tried FSB 320,it boots but won't load windows. Back in the day FSB was King. 200x10 was better than 100x20 is this still the case? I'm quite happy to achieve 3.75ghz but 4ghz would be nicer hehe. There's a lot more 'Tweaking options' than I'm used to and I've no idea about most of them? Any Advice,tips,change this,change that etc would be greatly appreciated.
