what kind of processor should i buy. it is a 603 pin socket motherboard with duel slots for processor and right now it has one processor in it and i want to up grade it. and will a 604 pin socket processor work in it. thsnk you.

You may try the
Intel Xeon 2.6 GHz / 8 KB L1 Cache / 400 MHz

However as far as i know a socket 604 is not compatible with a 603 motherboard.

However instead of upgrading my processor, if i where you i would increase my RAM instead. 512mb that you are using is grossly deficient.
