Reply: (edit)AMD performance rates it's speed in comparison to Intel's P4, but the actual clock speed is lower. An XP1700+ performs as good as a P4 1.7ghz, but at a clock speed of 1.47ghz (11 x 133FSB). Your FSB is set at 100, not 133 as it should be...that why it's reported as 1.1ghz (11 x 100FSB). Get into your BIOS & change the FSB to 133 to get your CPU running at it's proper speed...you should see a big difference.

Reply: (edit)LMAO. False advertising. Some Pentium owners would say you are being 'done' anyway, with the Athlon PR rating. Ok, shutting up. Agree with Jam. change FSB.
