what is over clocking and how do i do it? i have a p4 2.93 ghz processor if that helps...later
Computers only understand two things...0 and 1. They run on clocks that ossilate between high and low...or 1 and 0).
When you overclock, you make your computer run on a faster clock (ie: it ossilates faster). For example, if a clock went up and down (one cycle) 1000 times a second, then an overclock would cause it to do more cycles in a second (1001 cycles or more).
You have a gateway computer...it won't let you overclock.
