I have the 5200 ultra and my friend has the 5600 not the ultra. Mine is the 128 meg card and has alot of trouble o/c the memory clock because it is already strained from the factory. My friends 5600 256meg card will o/c nicely with no problems and it isnt the ultra but it will leave mine in the dust. The most ive gotten on 3dmark 01 was 9227 o/c'ed on 8x. My friend gets well over 6,000 on 4x agp not o/c'ed. When I had mine running 4x non o/c'ed it got around 4700. So I would definately say the 5600 will o/c alot better and even not o/c'ed it will smoke a 5200 o/c'ed.

I disagree. Not all nVidia cards will overclock high...some may not even overclock at all.

Instead of FX5600u I would get the R9600 Pro since it delivers much more performance & image quality at around the same price. Or, if you want to save some money a FX5200U is not a bad choice either but it won't be able to run those high-end games perfectly(Halo, Ut2k4).

You are right the 9600 xt or pro is a tiny bit better than the 5600u

But I believe a moderately o/c ed 5600u would eat a moderatly o/c'ed 9600. As for the 5200u 128 it will run 2k3 al the way up flawlessly. I hav'nt played halo and havnt got 2k4 yet.

I have asked all of you, which is better, because I am planning to buy a graphics card that will be perfect for gaming. Of course, with high overclocking ability. About the Radeons, I have seen the price, and it is really cost much.

BTW, I am from the Philippines.

Hey Ry Spy,

For best bang for buck the fx 5900se's are not that much more money than the price of a 5600ultra.I have a fx5600ultra and I recently got a eVGA 5900se this card is awesome for gaming compared to my 5600u.

fx5200u,5600u and ati9600 np,pros and xt's, (9800se's scam)have 4 pixel pipeline's and 128 bit memory architecture and the fx5900se's and fx5900xt's have 8 pixel pipeline's and 256 bit memory architecture and the price's on all these except for the 5200line are very close amount's (NOBRAINER).

I paid more for my 5600u than I did for the 5900se (stuuuupiiid me).I think newegg.com ships out of U.S. check it out.

Oh and to answer your question do they overclock well "yes" both the 5600u and 5900se oc quite a bit.
