Hi, I have a pentium processor with MMX technology. Its a 233 Intel Chip. I have an old Compaq Presario 4526. Which i bought in 1997. You can look up my model on Compaqs website = www.compaq.com
My main concern is speed for my pc.
I have a 233 Intel MMX Chip * 32 RAM * 3.73 Gigabyte hard drive * 24 x MAX CD ROM DRIVE *
I am wanting to know if it is possible Overclocking my CPU ????
AND
IF Yes How would i go about it ????

get a chart of your mobo jummpers from compaq of the motherboard you got and set the cpu speed to be faster.
But be careful! overclock it slowly like for a example the CPU runs at 233MHz set the jummpers for it to be 266MHz and see if the pc works find if it does keep going. Oh and if i were you get a better heat sink and fan
