FIrstly with the water cooling:

I would like to know if I can install the Aquarius Liquid Cooling System by Thermaltake into a regular, boring, 19 inch ATX case.
If yes, would I need to upgrade my current 350 watt ps to a 400 or more? or does the Aquarius use a cord going to the wall?

Secondly, I have the following:

P4 2.4C
msi 865pe neo2-ls mobo
geforce 4 ti4200 128mb by msi at 300 and 590 Mhz
gig of 3200 samsung ram
350 watt ps by some company from Taiwan (i think)
1 60 gig HD by maxtor
wireless network PCI card by Linksys
stock cooling

From MSI's newer mobos comes this Corecenter software. This enables people to dynamically overclock their system. However, today as I increase the FSB slowly, and occasionally the voltage, at 245 FSB the system froze. At this point I was up to 2.9 GHz.
After restarting and setting the FSB to 238, after a minute or so the system froze again.
So now Im back at 2.4 GHz.

From what I understand, many of you have been able to reach over 3.0 GHz with stock cooling on a system similar to mine. My idle temps for 245 FSb were (for the given time which was about 3 minutes,) was 49C. Mind you, my room is about 23C.

Finally, in your expert opinion, what would be better?
1.) liquid cooling
2.) SubZero4G™ Thermo-electric Cooling
3.) a thermaltake case with 7 fans, together with an SLK-900U heatsink with a 90mm delta fan

thanks

ciao

Liquid cooling would be best, followed by the thermaltake case and slk900u. Don't even consider the subzero tec thing. At max power it provides 77w or so of cooling, but that's no good as a 3gh p4 makes more than 80w of heat, and the performance is terrible if you go beyond the max cooling level. Watercooling with a high wattage peltier would be your best bet.

Me too. You and I need to go to the store and buy a good name brand 460-500w power supply and install it.

TomsHardware.com has tests and comparisons.

I assume that the thermaltake case would be ok with a water cooling system?

thnx for the advise...

It is taken, and ill report back in a bit :)

Thermaltake case would be grand with anything.
