Comment: I have an XFX GeForce 6600 AGP 256MB. I am looking at installing the Vantec Iceberq 5 Cooler. I can currently run the core from 300mhz stock to 470. At load it gets in the high 70's and has hit 80's a few times. I am wondering If I get this cooler, will I be able to push the core any further? Thanks

Reply: (edit)I wouldent bother buying a video card cooler unless I had a high end card. You would be best just getting more airflow through the card. Rig up a 80mm fan blowing air on it or buy a PCI slot fan and put it beneath the card. Sometimes low end or midrange cards dont have fans on their heatsinks If that is the case with your card just put a 60mm or 40mm fan on it and it should take care of it, that is what I have done with my FX5500. You should get more from that card as I have gotten up to 380Mhz core out of my FX5500 with it skrewing up nicely (Everything was so colourfull) but it runs stable at 350Mhz not bad concidreing my card started at 200Mhz. I would expect that card to get at least 350 too. Unless the 6600 core is more different to the 5500 than I think. Good Luck.
