I was reading a previous post on here and somebody said something about the program Sandra tells you your CPU tempature some how, If somebody could tell me how to do that it would help, Also if this is true what should a Pentium MMX @ 200mhz (233 overclocked) Run at? And What does the term "benchmark" mean, is it a way of measuring your PC speed, because I know mine is a power plant.
Thank-You
Jesse

It is VERY easy to use. You will find out.

Sorry to disappoint you...but your old board doesn't have the built in temperature sensors...there's no way to determine temps via software without the sensors.
Hey, those old MMX CPU's don't put out that much heat...especially by today's standards...you have absolutely nothing to worry about as long as you have some sort of heatsink w/fan. It doesn't have to be anything fancy. Didn't you say that your machine didn't even have a fan on the heatsink? That should be an indication of how much heat was considered a problem back then....

People would be amazed at just how much you can do with a 233mmx w/64mb. I got into computing at the time the 166MMX just hit the streets...then the 200...& people were saying back then, "why would anyone need a CPU that fast!" Wow, times have changed. The old socket 7 format is my "thing"...I pick parts up at flea markets, thru upgrades, trades, sometimes the trash...lol. I build em & sell em cheap ($50 - $100 complete)...sometimes I give em away. Right now I have 13 of em...ranging from 166MMX up to several K6-2/500s. Xmas is coming up & I'm gearing up for a clearance sale...lol!

Right about the 166, 200, 233, 266, 300, 333, 400, MMX or Celeron.
I have had fixed up half a dozen, gave them to the retirement homes. They (retired and sons/daughters never visit) love to go online. To there couple times a month and help whenever they screw up, and they do screw up.

We still have our first computer that has a 233/96.I cant get rid of it for sentamental reasons. As it was the first we had.
