Comment:

I have a HP with a 400 mhz pentium II and 256 mb of ram, and a Asus (p2b-ve) Slot 1 motherboard. I have been looking around and was wondering is it possible to upgrade to a Intel Celeron 1.3 ghz using a 370 to Slot 1 adapter, and is this a good upgrade???

Thanks

You would need a slotket that supports tualatin cores such as the "slot-T" designed by www.upgradeware.com. I didn't see your motherboard listed on the compatibility list for that, but I did see many with very similar names (p2b-xx) so you might be fine.
