I want to upgrade my processor. What's the fastest processor I can upgrade to without changing my motherboard?

Kinda hard to tell you without knowing what motherboard you have!

YOu have a p2 450. SO, I am gonna say off the top of my head, you may be able to go to a Pentium3 but without knowing what board you have, noone can say!

We need, model number and manufacturer name.

If you have a ATX type case, you may find it cheaper in the long run to go with a new mobo/cpu/RAM combination.

If you are able to move up to a PIII cpu with your current board you will most likely end up buying a good used PIII and spending close to what a new but inexpensive motherboard would set you back.

You could also sell your current mobo/cpu/RAM and use the proceeds to offset the cost of the new stuff.
