Thanks! Would a Prescott 3.0 GHz also work?

Prescott have different voltage requirement compared to northwood and given your 850/E chipset is design for northwood only, so will a prescott work? Assuming you are very lucky and the board detect the prescott 3g without any problem, now how do you think your 533Mhz board will do to a 800Mhz FSB prescott? Running at 133x15 = 2g vs 200x15 = 3g default?

Makes sense! Thanks! Looks like I'm sticking to the Northwood.

I guess we would not be able to stick a P4 2.8 GHZ 533 mhz chip in an 8200 400 mhz FSB board then, is that correct?
