I wish to upgrade the BIOS so I can overclock my Processor. However, I cannot find a suitable place to download the BIOS. Even Phoenix Award wouldn't let me get a new version, even though I purchased am OEM PC (I know, my bad). So I was wondering if anyone could point me to a place to get the latest BIOS for my motherboard, or give me a link to an overclocking utility for my processor.
MoBo Model number: F690VGM
Chipset: AMD 690G/V
BIOS: 6A669FK8CAfter running WinFlash Utility, it gave me this:
RS690-SB600-6A669FK8C-00A sticker on my motherboard:

The majority of OEM boards can NOT be overclock via the BIOS...it has to be done via software.
You could take a chance & try replacing the OEM BIOS with the BIOS from a comparble Foxconn board, but it's a high risk endevour & could possibly render the board totally useless. If you wanna take the chance, you should be looking for the BIOS file at the Foxconn/Winfast website.
Other than that, you'll have to search for overclocking software...ClockGen, CPUFSB, SoftFSB are a few I can think of.
BTW, the DDR2-667 RAM is bottlenecking your system. The A64/X2 should be paired up with DDR2-800, possibly DDR2-1066 if the board supports it.

Came stock with DDR 667. Thank you for the software though, GREATLY appreciated.

I can only up my PC's CPU ~150 MHz or it restarts. Any pointers using ClockGen?

To overclock your computer try SetFSB.

It work great with My acer M1100 with 4000x2.
I can overclock from 2.1 Ghz to 2.4Ghz no problem, Im only limited by the memory.
When you overclock check you momory frequency with cpu-z. My 667 memory run stable at 343.3Mhz x2= 686.4. I try 2.5 ghz but it's not stable.
