Reply: (edit)Laptops have a very short upgrade path. You can: Add more memory. Buy more laptop peripherals. Get a new laptop.

Reply: (edit)On some of the better, umh, higher quality laptops, you can also SWAP out the removable hard disk and removable CD versus DV or CDRW cassette. On many of the older ones, if you figure out how to open it up, at least the hard disks can be exchanged fairly easily. Biggest problem with Laptops is the mobos which have precious little compatibility built into them. Like Mobey said, at more external stuff, and change memory. Those are the two easy upgrade solutions. Hey Intel, AMD rulez!

Reply: (edit)laptops really arent the most upgradable things in the universe but depending on whats in the thing you may be able to upgrade alot. so what processor and kind of ram is in there? you may be able to do a whole lot, or nothing at all.
