Hello ^_^ I"m pretty new to updgrading/overclocking/building etc.. so bare with the newb :)
I have an Intel SB8255 chipset from a 300PL IBM computer i got from my friend. I'm trying to find the specs on this baord because i want to updgrade the CPU to the fastest clock speeds offered for it, but i'm having trouble. The cpu is a Pentium II 333hmz's but i'm not sure what processor to get and/or if this is the highest the board can handle???>.....

i say its about time for the newb to get a new computer. Just get something cheap. A 1 GHz celeron would be nice. I got mine for 63 bucks about 2 years ago i guess. today i see one at price watch for 37 bucks. than you will just need a cheap mobo.
good luck with you and your newbish self =)
