Hello,my motherboard user guide has the processor speed as 800 MHz overclocked to 2000+,and the FSB as 133MHz.A tool called CPU-Z shows a core speed of 800MHz,and a multiplier of 6.Emsa FlexInfo Pro gives an ext clock figure of 3331.Norton Utilities also gives 3331.Can anyone explain how the 2000+ and 3331 numbers are produced? It is not overclocked to 2000+, the all-in-one Mercury C3 boards are Performance Rated and what they INFER is that the 800mhz CPU runs at the equivelent of a 2000+, whatever that means.

These figures IMHO mean diddly squat, it is a 800mhz PC and they are designed to run on that MoBo, they are poor performers, need at least 512MB memory to even run XP and if you paid more then £45 inc P&P you have paid too much.

The BIOS on these are specially written and have no idea what the figures mean, but in my experience they run no better that a 900mhz 133fsb Celeron Skt370.

The VIA C3 isn't a CPU that's posted about about very often. 6 x 133MHz = 800MHz...that's your CPU speed, I don't know if the C3 uses PR (performance rating) numbers or not, but from what I've read, they don't perform very well
