Hey guys!
Which do you think would be better for a laptop? An AMD Turion X2 TL-52 or an Intel Centrino Core 2 Duo, both running at the same frequency? And why?

Intel's "Centrino" is not a type of CPU...it's the name of the hardware package. The CPU is the Core 2 Duo.

AMD's hardware package is called "Turion"...but their mobile CPU also shares the same name.

Now that that's out of the way, the Core 2 Duo is the better choice, but it would depend on the rest of the hardware (RAM, HDD, video, etc) & what you plan to use the notebook for. If you expect to do any gaming, check which type of graphics are used. Gaming notebooks usually cost in excess of $1500...over $2000 if you want something really good.
