Comment: Machine :Emachine T1090, I replaced the MB. Original Trigen Cognac 20000731 and it is locking up in post inbetween mouse and HHD detection and im thinking that it has the updated bios version. though i'm not sure. im guessing it has 3.07 bios version. because i have seen people describe experienceing the lock up in post after upgrading the bios, while trying to install a different pci video card. I am just trying to get it working using the intergrated video card. NEED HELP!

Reply: (edit)i suggest spending some money on getting a good board. E-machines are built using cheap parts. Get an msi or asus board.. u wont regret it...mobo's are dirtcheap now!

Reply: (edit)he already bought a new Trigem board. They cost $125 or so new, a great waste of money. They are worth $50 at most fair value. Used Trigems are worth $20 retail. do a google. John, upgrading an emachine is a waste of time & money. If your PSU ( power supply unit) hasn't failed yet, it will soon. I wish you the best. Mungo
